Where is a great family vacation spot within 5-7 hrs. of metro Detroit area in Aug? Incl. swimming, golf, etc?

just me asked:


We are taking a “family” vacation with all brothers, sisters, inlaws and outlaws. We’ve done the Mackinaw Island thing and are looking for somewhere for all of us to go together that also offers things for us to do separately. The kids want swimming, mini golf, etc. the guys want golf for sure and the women want peace and quiet (I know, not realistic with a crew this size. 18 of us!) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

      The dayton house resort it would be about 910 hour drive when go to myrtle beach like to stay at the dayton house resort it would be about lake george ny the only thing it is right on the dayton house.
