If it’s what he really likes to do, then yeah I think it’s alright. He just has to make sure that he can balance school, golf, and his friends. Maybe you could ask him to hang out at night when he isn’t playing golf?

For kid at this age to chill with my friends downtown also he might just like to be obsessed with golf as an excuse.
An excuse or something to focus his energy on.

For kid at this age to have something to take day or two week to chill with golf hella but always like be blowing you off with.

stop raggin on him for christs sake, u obviously dont know wat dedication. he probably is aspiring to play in highschool which is very competitive, and golf is a sport that demands a lot of practice. I play in hs and play almost everyday during the summer, plus tournaments. if he keeps it up, he could even play college. if u think hes playing a lot, u should take a look at tiger woods’ schedule sometime.
