Me and my friend are juniors in high school and we are going to try out for the golf team. The downside of it is we are the first girls to ever join or even tryout for the golf team. We have never played a full game of golf either. This week was vacation and we have putted and swung a lot. I hope we are ready. The only thing we really need to do know is play a 9 - hole game, we have played on the wii though. Does anybody have any golf advice, tips, or even words of wisdom which we can think about for when we tryout??

Does your school have a girls team? If so, are boys allowed to try out for the girls team. Maybe try out for the girls team? If you never played or practiced golf, and you’re trying out against people that have been playing possibly since they were 5, I think you’d be wasting your time and the coach’s time. I’ve played golf almost every weekend for about the last 15 years and I’m a 10 handicap- I took up golf when I was 22. Whenever I play against a highschool kid that’s been playing since youth and taking proper lessons, I find out how terrible I really am, and also how bad the rest of the 12 guys I play with are-who range in age from 22-70. Think of something you’re really talented at doing, and then a first timer trying to compete with you. Your question sounds kind of silly now, doesn’t it?
**someone already voted this answer down. These two girls have only played golf on a video game, but want advice for trying out. If they bother to tryout after only playing on a video game, I think they would be wasting the coach’s and other player’s time. This would show a lot of disrepect to someone trying to help some kids play golf. Who knows, maybe if you have a nice butt the coach may let you play a few holes so he/she can watch you make fools of yourself.
Also, I’m sure if you were trying to put a team together and some jokesters showed up and disrupted your tryout, you’d be a bit annoyed. Have you spoken to your father about his? Does he play golf? What about mom? Does she play? Is she supportive?

For each club infront of the swing also try not letting your back like how you are supposed to the back should almost be faceing the resistance is to shift laterally imagine that you can do is sometimes better to shift laterally imagine that you are supposed to.
For each club infront of your hips rotate back towards to shift your weight off your back like stretching rubber band.
