Tips For Planning A Golf Vacation

Amit Kheterpal asked:

Come vacation time and everyone seems to be in a quandary as to what destination and type of vacations should be chosen. Golf vacations are one such choice which will help you make those vacations special. Golf vacations are becomingly increasingly popular as pure tourist destinations which provide with complete family entertainment.

This is true that golf vacations now provide for complete family vacations. A few years ago the notion of these kinds of vacations was that only individual members of the family can go there or a group of golf loving buddies would travel together to play golf on beautiful courses. All sorts of golf resorts have now changed there themes to accommodate family style tourist interests.

Over the course of the years with the time at a premium, it would be tough for a family member to on a golf vacation once and the again go with the family for another vacation. So you need the best of both the worlds in one place. You need a place where your kids can enjoy children activities and you need a place where wife can enjoy shopping and other activities rather than watching you play golf. This is called killing two birds with one stone in a famous saying.

Combining the two is the option and golf courses all around the world have the answer.

For example if you look at the number one golf destination in the country which is the Myrtle Beach, years ago it was only meant for golf playing but now it offers a complete family package. It has activities for kids and shopping malls for wives while the husbands tee off in all glory.

While you are selecting your golf playing destination you need to make sure that the destination you pick is a family destination. There will be a few destinations which may only offer golf courses ad nothing else. Also to cut costs make sure that you check for packages which are everything inclusive. That inclusive means that room accommodations, golf course admission fees, rentals and trips to local sightseeing locations are all inclusive.

The best part is that you are now not limited to domestic locations. There are golf courses in other countries which also offer these family packages. Some of the countries which offer these are Mexico, Spain, Scotland and Ireland. Make sure to plan n advance to get the best deals in town. Effective and advance planning can save you lots of money.

What do you like to do at Walt Disney World besides just going to the theme parks?

Katlyn ♥ Disney asked:

Our next vacation to Walt Disney World is in July for 10 days and 11 nights. We’re on the Platinum Plan and all recreation and tours are included in the package. I know there’s all kinds of recreation and stuff to do at Walt Disney World besides just going to the theme parks. There’s golf, mini golf, boat rentals, bike rentals, horseback riding, carriage/wagon rides, etc. What else do you like to do during your vacation? What’s been fun, what would you recommend or not recommend? Have you done any of the different tours at the theme parks? Any shops you love to go to while at the parks or resorts? Any restaurants or kiosks you always go to, maybe for a specific item?

I want any suggestions of things to do and things to try within Walt Disney World, not off property.

Thank you!
I’m only 19, so any place that requires you to be 21 is out of the question, I guess. And I don’t plan on leaving Disney property because I’m on the Platinum Plan and I’m only going to be there fro 11 days. It takes me minimum of two weeks to do everything I want, and I didn’t spend $15,000 on our Disney Package to spend more money outside of Disney.
Yep, love Downtown Disney. I already know I’m going to be there at least one whole day. We’re having lunch at Bongos Cuban Cafe and dinner at Fulton’s Crab House, most likely, and then we’re going to see Cirque Du Soleil: La Nouba. We’re going to the Rainforest Cafe at the Animal Kingdom Park.

Anybody actually do any of the recreational activities?

Allan

Planning The Perfect Hilton Head Golf Vacation

Friday, March 27th, 2009

Jerry Glynn asked:

A Hilton Head golf vacation is a great way to relax, rejuvenate, and hone your golfing skills. Hilton Head Island, South Carolina is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the country, and this article will provide some information about golf tournaments and courses on the island, to help you plan your next vacation.

One the most well known golf courses on the island is Harbour Town Golf Links, home to the MCI Classic, one of the top events on the PGA Tour. Recently given the ranking of the 57th best course in the world by Golf Digest, Harbour Town is also bordered by the famous Harbour Town lighthouse and the neighboring marina features shops, fine dining, and other entertainment opportunities.

Sea Pines Ocean Course is among the oldest golf courses in the area, and was renovated in 1996 by PGA Pro Architect Mark Mccumber and features a signature oceanfront 15th hole with panoramic views of the water, as well as several lagoons and bunkers. This course is also one of two courses that are Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary courses within the Sea Pines resort.

Palmetto Dunes boasts an extensive lagoon system and bunkered greens. This Hilton Head golf course is famous for its ocean views, particularly those from the tenth hole of the Robert Trent Jones course. The George Fazio course is considered to be one of the most challenging courses on the island, and is the only par 70. The Arthur Hills course is also both beautiful and challenging in its own right, and provides many opportunities for off balance lies.

Another popular island course spot is the Daufuskie Island Resort, which is home to two signature courses that re accessible only by boat from Hilton Head. Bloody Point, a Parkland style golf course, borders the ocean, marshes, and rivers on many of its holes. The second course, Melrose, is a Jack Nicklaus designed course featuring many ocean front finishing holes.

These are just some of the many Hilton Head golf courses that visitors can choose from. Some people refer to Hilton Head as the golf island, due to the abundance of courses and golfing opportunities and the year round perfect weather. Just make sure to make your reservations early, as the popular hotels and rentals book quickly, particularly during the peak season, and when you are planning your next visit the area, be sure to bring your golf clubs with you.

Great Legislator asked:

Republicans calling Democrats LIBERAL!
Like that’s a dirty word.
And Democrats calling Republicans CONSERVATIVE!
STOP IT CHILDREN!
Then they get mad and take each others toys!
The Democrats take from the military.
The Republicans take from the social programs.
This country has more money than it knows what to do with.
It gives money away!
We need both a stong military, and social programs, and we enough money for both.
Tell your congressmen and women that we are not the
uneducated fools they think we are! And WE are FED UP with
PARTISAN POLITICS.
And they need to stop making everyone cynical, keeping our attention on petty sex scandals and things, and so they can play golf and take vacations, and start doing their jobs!

tr asked:

You could see thru my top and see my trimmed hair on the bikini bottoms. The liner must’ve have been too thin. I was wondering why everyone was looking at me, i thought it was because i looked sexy in my bikini. My husband came back to the pool after golfing and told me. Thank god i brought another suit.
Has this happened to anybody else.
